How JobHunter works
JobHunter is for people who already know which companies they want to join. You list the companies and the kinds of roles you are after, and JobHunter shows their openings from the last few days, marks the ones that are new since your last visit, and links straight to each one on the company's own page.
Where the openings come from
Many companies publish their openings through a hiring system with a public job board: Greenhouse, Ashby or Lever. Your browser reads those public boards directly. Our server is not involved, so it never learns which companies you follow.
Some large companies (for example Google, Apple, Meta, Amazon, Microsoft and Tesla) run their own career sites instead, which a browser page like JobHunter cannot read, and several of them block automated access. For them JobHunter gives you a ready-made "newest first" search on their own site and a link to their own job alerts. It never scrapes their pages or works around their protections.
Dates and "new"
Each hiring system dates its openings differently, so JobHunter says which date it shows: when an opening was first posted, when it was last republished, or since when it has been listed. It also remembers when it first saw each opening. An opening is marked new only when it was not there at your previous check, and the mark stays until you have looked at it. An opening is only treated as closed after two checks at least an hour apart both miss it and the hiring system confirms it is gone. Openings without a usable date are never hidden.
Applying
JobHunter never applies for you and never fills in forms by itself. You open the real application on the company's page and submit it yourself. Its apply kit keeps your details and your usual answers ready to copy, and with your own AI key can check how your resume fits an opening and draft a cover letter or answers: you see exactly what is sent, and you review and edit every draft before using it.
Your data
Everything you enter is kept in your browser, and Vibistic never receives it. An AI request, only when you press Send, sends what you picked and saw to the AI provider whose key you use. To keep a copy, export a file, or turn on the optional cloud backup, which is encrypted in your browser with a recovery code only you hold, so Vibistic cannot read it. See Privacy.
